While playing board games face-to-face is the best, you can learn a lot of games online versus various opponents, especially when you can't get a group together.
CodeMash v2.0.0.8
Published on January 13, 2008 By kdevine In Software Development
A little personal background, I have only been a developer for about six years. I learned some C in college, but my work experience started with VB6 and then VB.net and ASP.net. I have played with Ruby, Python and Java, but I have never had a business reason to use these technologies. Working for smaller companies, I have rarely worked on any "enterprise" applications. I currently work for a public library as a development team of one. But, after attending a MSDN event, Josh Holmes talked about CodeMash and I was approved to go (at the library's expense ).

First, the conference was held at the Kalahari Resort, which is huge! It has over 1000 rooms and it was a serious walk just to get to our room. I arrived on the Wednesday night to see the Pre-conference panel about "Talking Technology to Humans."
